Finding the right words – for me, working on a text is a balancing act between content and form, creativity and structure, attention to detail and the big picture, pragmatism and perfection. When copy editing, my aim is to preserve diagnostic and tone and to find precise, clear and sympathetic formulations, to describe a person.
The mixture of focussed, calm work on the text and the joint linguistic-creative process corresponds to my working style. My environment appreciates my uncomplicated and even-tempered nature, my reliability and my hands-on mentality.
On a day-to-day basis, I enjoy the easy-going, friendly and humorous atmosphere with my colleagues, who are always ready to laugh and to share their knowledge. Furthermore I like the flexibility and willingness to help in our team.

Leonie Ostenrieder has several years of experience in editing thanks to her work in various publishing houses. She also has in-depth knowledge of administrative an conceptual processes in the publishing sector, by her varied training in the book industry and her independent work as a project manager for book projects.
